05 October 2013 Pink Breakfast in Dorridge

While Roger and a team were leading a Two Sisters day in Norwich, Helen travelled the shorter distance to Dorridge Methodist Church, not far from Junction 4 of the M42.  Helen had been invited to speak at a regular event there called the 'Pink Breakfast'.  It is an outreach event where a posh breakfast is served (we're talking smoked salmon blinis) to the ladies, many of whom have come from outside the church.

After a delicious breakfast, Helen spoke on the theme 'How can I keep from singing'.  She talked about the joy of singing, and why we sing, finishing up with talking about the concept of the ministry song, and God singing over us.  She finished up with a time of prophetic singing over the ladies, and quite a few of them seemed to be really moved.

Another joy of the Pink Breakfast is that the church had really thought about follow-up, and the following weekend Helen returned and preached at the morning service, this time taking the theme of Tabernacle and coming into God's presence because of Jesus.

Praise God for this wonderful opportunity to use music to share the Gospel.
