We’ve just had two amazing Spirit-filled WILDFIRE music weeks, at Lee Abbey and Scargill House, and there’s still one more to come: 20-26 Oct at Brunel Manor, South Devon. There are some places left, so ring 01803 329333 - we'd love to see you there!
HEART & SOUL re-starts this week (Wednesday 6-8pm), and my special guest in the first hour is worship leader and singer-songwriter CHRIS BOWATER. It is a very moving and inspirational interview where Chris shares honestly and deeply about his life and ministry, and we feature some of his all-time favourites songs. One of the most important CMM events for years is coming soon:
Saturday 12 October 2019 - TORN CURTAIN – THE MUSICAL at Coton Centre in Tamworth, with a scratch choir and orchestra. Singers, instrumentalists and audience all welcome! Rehearsals start at 11am with production at 5pm.

This will also a special Gift Day as we move forward into the exciting things we believe God has for us to do. See our 2019-20 DIARY! Even if you cannot come you can still be part of this. For over 35 years CMM has been made possible by the prayers and gifts of those who support us and the ministry. We still need that support if we are to continue to do what we believe is the call of our Lord to share the good news of Jesus and help and encourage individuals and churches to come close to him.
So we are appealing for three kinds of support/response:
- Pray for us – this is always the priority. Some are called to stand with us as ‘Prayer Warriors’, listening to God on our behalf. If you think this is you, emailevents@cmm.org.uk or call 01527 576440 and Helen will add you to the list for a (roughly) bi-monthly email or letter.
- Participate in our events – come along, tell others, and invite us to your church. Advertising is so expensive and mostly ineffective; we rely on word-of-mouth recommendations!
- Provide for us financially – we rely on the generosity of our friends. On this Gift Day, why not seek the Lord and see if he is leading you to give a one-off gift or to support more regularly.
And finally, happening this month:
- CMM Choir re-starts Monday 09 September at Harborne Baptist and Tuesday 10 September at Christ Church Ward End (both 7.45pm starts) All welcome – no audition for choir, just turn up! The new musical for the autumn is Simeon.
- SPIRIT WORKS weekend at Trinity Methodist, Hexham – Saturday 21 September (10.30am-4.30pm) and Sunday 21 September morning service.
