While Roger, Mary and Helen were at St John's House, Annie was with a CMM team in Stafford at Church Lane Evangelical. It was Annie's third visit to the church - she was due to visit in the spring, but it sadly had to be called off for snow. The pastor of the church is John Marshall, and he always does a great job organising the day.The musical this time was Stargazers, and Annie was joined by Yvette, Carolynn and Jonathan, who were all absolutely wonderful. Everyone shared a meal together before it started, and then spent the afternoon rehearsing. The choir were excellent and worked really hard.
A little before the performance Annie shared a small talk with the choir, and then they all sang to a packed out church.
It was a brilliant day, and a great way to begin the Advent and Christmas season. Stargazers is a lovely simple musical, easy to learn and perform.
