CRE time
Anyone coming to the Heart of England CRE in Telford this week? Roger, Annie, Barrie, myself and assorted others will be manning (and womanning) the CMM stand. We also have a little presentation for 10 minutes every day at 12pm on the exhibitor's highlights stand.
See you there!

Warm, Windless Whitby - is that possible?
Last week, Roger, Annie, Barbara, Mike and myself led a Jail Break healing week at Moorlands, the Christian Guild hotel in Whitby. Every day Roger taught on a different topic from Acts 16, then Annie and Helen taught Jail Break, all leading up to a worshipful performance on Thursday evening.
We were exceptionally well looked after by the hotel, and the teaching and ministry sessions went well. But the week was made even more special by the unbelievably beautiful weather. Last year the wind was incredibly strong, the temperatures freezing and even snow on the ground. This year, there was hardly any wind and soaring temperatures (for February).
One of the exciting things about CMM's ministry at the moment is the training element. In the teaching about music in praise and worship we endeavour to encourage people in their faith and intimacy with God. Alongside this though, we are trying to enable people to step out and minister to one another - something that not many Christians get to do regularly in their churches, but which should be part of the 'normal Christian life'.
Precious and Honoured
The Saturday Precious and Honoured day went very well in Bulwell. With Roger, Annie and myself were a largely new team consisting of Miriam (singing), Miriam (clarinet), Marilyn (flute), Sarah (violin), Rich (electric guitar) and James (acoustic guitar), not to mention Kevin playing cornet from the sound desk!
It was a lovely day with about 50 attending, and all were willing to participate in the come, Holy Spirit workshops in the afternoon. Our prayers are with the church as they look to move forward in their Holy Spirit ministry over the weeks and months to come.

Birthday time again
Both Annie and Katie have birthdays at this time of year, so the office celebrated in style with an all-you-can-eat Chinese Buffet last Thursday.
Just thought I'd let you all know that to make you hungry...
And also this is a prayer request. Tomorrow Roger, Annie and I are leading a healing in worship day in Bulwell in Nottingham, and then we are in Whitby leading another healing week. God often speaks very powerfully at these times, so please pray that we will be alert and able to hear his voice. Pray also for the CMM team members:
Bulwell: Kevin, Miriam, Miriam, Sarah, James, Marilyn
Whitby: Mike and Barbara
